Application Developer

This position is for development, design and maintenance of a dynamic website with a backend MS SQL database.

All programming and development work shall employ practices such as ColdFusion Components (CFCs) and Object Oriented design. Intimate knowledge of security (roles, authentication), user-defined functions, structured reporting, rich and dynamic form generation, model-view-controller (MVC) and web services is mandatory. Strong experience with CSS, XML, SQL Query Language, and HTTPS is necessary and a must. Experience in Section 508 sites design

Strong background in ColdFusion, Flash, Structured Query Language (SQL), CF Components and Object-oriented design. Must be an expert in Macromedia/Adobe products such as ColdFusion, Dreamweaver, and Flash Professional. These development tools will be used to interface with SQL Server 2000, a comprehensive and scalable data management system.

The Application Developer shall have a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science or commensurate experience. Experience with the Government a plus.
