Streaming Media

Trident enables content providers with video, audio or just text content deliver and deploy their content to the web in the most economic ways. Using Microsoft's leading edge media services technologies and state of the art equipment from Cisco Systems, Trident has developed proprietary content management and delivery systems which ensure constant, quality bandwidth delivery to the edges of the Internet.

Trident provides the following services:

  • On Demand Media Streaming
  • Live Event Streaming
  • Content Delivery

On-Demand Streaming
On-Demand streaming is the most common and bandwidth and storage consuming type of streaming on the Internet. Using audio or video low or high band encoded files, users may connect to Trident servers and play or watch the piece of content which is stored on Trident servers. Trident uses Windows Media Servers on Windows 2003 servers from Microsoft to stream and deliver content to users. Each user listens to his own stream of content on-demand. Content providers can arrange their content into playlists which can be played back as low band or high band files to users.

Live Encoding & Streaming
Trident provides live and on-demand multi-bit rate encoding for Windows Media Services. Live content is encoded with the highest quality of encoding available to avoid stutters and pauses during playback. Whether your application is a simple audio track or full motion video or live event, Trident can encode the content to the most optimum format to be played back.

Content Delivery
Trident's CDN network consists of multiple data centers with multiple systems and servers located in those centers which can stream and deliver any content to anywhere in the world. The infrastructure is designed in a way to prevent failing of any one system and to automatically distribute streaming traffic to multiple server.
